Mitchell Sosebee
Drummer Mitchell Sosebee's rare birth defect (2 1/2 arms) left him with limited career options growing up. A world class grocery bagger thru his teens, Mitch was "discovered" and subsequently recruited to play drums in local band PoirotMania, a Def Leppard cover band that performed Agatha Christie inspired rock operas. Mitch quickly outgrew the band and left in '88 citing
artistic differences. "My parts were so easy, a one-armed drummer could play
them," said Sosebee. Mitch spent years honing his craft in such luminary acts
as The Chernobylmen, Armed and Dangerous, and The Nubs before settling into LRB, where he considers himself "just one of the guys with a little extra
to offer."
